Children all over the world are growing up without the care, protection and guidance they need. SOS Children’s Villages in Somaliland is there, working with children, young people and families to tackle this in Somaliland.
We work to keep families together, provide alternative care when needed, support young people on their path to independence, and advocate for the rights of children. Together with donors, partners, communities and governments, we lay the foundations for a brighter future.
Every child belongs to a family and grows up with love, respect and security. Our vision is for every child to belong to a family, and grow up loved, respected and secure. We achieve this by providing family-based care for children who live in our SOS villages, and preventative care to avoid family separation and abandonment – for those living in the community.
We build families for children in need, we help them shape their own futures, and we share in the development of their communities.
